Checking in a breeze. Locations was the best. 30 min walk to Tokyo station, 30 min walk to kabuki theater across the street from the parks. 800-yen ride in taxi to anime street. We had breakfast included, highly recommend. The host was awesome he always sat us near a window so I could see the parks while we enjoyed breakfast. Buffet was a little bit of USA, UK and Japan food. We used the pool one day. The elevator operators were so pleasant. Walked to Tokyo station, I had prepurchase bullet train tickets and had them delivered to our hotel, it still took us a hour to figure out what train platform, it is sooo crowded, but so worth it. And the station shops are in the basement, they had more anime selection than anime street area. The only mishap was when we were leaving to go to the port to get on a cruise, they told the cab driver we wanted princess cruise ship. The cab driver didn't know where he was going, driving around the block three times stopping police on bikes, and leaving us in cab while he ran inside for directions. By this time I was starting to freak out. Then he gets to the international Tokyo port, no ships no people no cabs, he wants us out, this official comes up to us in cab and says are you looking for princess diamond cruise, were like YES he's like it's in Yokohama and hour away. We say yes, so he tells the cab driver in Japanese were to go. The cab driver drops us off at the right spot 2hrs later and wants 20000. yen my husband gives him 10000 yen it was horrible finally gave the driver another 5000 yen. Otherwise, the location of this hotel is perfect for were we wanted to go. Our room was just like in American hotel, brought yen before we left, way easier to pay in yen, no cards. I bought an empty luggage; I thought I would bring back a lot of anime NOPE. But the best souvenir shop is Don Quoite. KitKat, Matcha, Sake, Gift boxes of sweets chopsticks and green tea. I also ordered kabuki tickets online, they sell out same day.

The hotel is well located, within walking distance to our business destinations and to cafes and restaurants. We arrived early but a room was ready for us. Checking in (and later checking out) was a breeze. Although the hotel has passed its prime, it is grand and continues to be fully functional. A large reception hall, fluent English speaking reception staff, multiple operating lifts, with floor managers ushing us in entering the lift. The room is large, well appointed. Bathroom towels and amenities and bed sheets are checked twice daily. There are always taxis at the entrance, although the subway station is within walking distance. I truly enjoyed my stay in this hotel.

The service is incredible from the moment you enter the hotel - staff go out of their way to help. The hotel is hugely impressive from the minute you enter the lobby. A staff member takes you to your room and gives you a show around of the facilities The room itself was very clean and had an impressive amount of bathroom knick knacks to make your stay comfortable. I felt like I was treated really well. I can't re-iterate enough the service is incredibly high. A special thanks to Takeshi San/タケシサンに感謝します。

The personal attention, warmth and kindness of the staff and style of imperial makes it special. I stayed here 19 years ago with my grandparents and loved it then. This was my 2nd stay and even after so many years it maintains the same style and grandeur. As we had a child we were given an early checkin as soon as we reached. We had a beautiful room, excellent breakfast, the pool and spa are really nice.

Everything: you get a clear impression of the hotel’s size and operations as soon as you enter it as it is a beehive of activity with many tenants and staff, with the staff always available and are very friendly and professional. Rooms and amenities were top class. Location next to Ginza and Imperial Palace, while the nearest underground station entrance(Hibiya) is only 50 meters away.
